About Tamak Group
From a small family business in Quatre Bornes to a diversified Mauritian group.
Our Story
Tamak Group was founded in 1983 by Emmanuel and Lily Tsang Mang Kin, who began printing Citadel T-shirts from their garage in Quatre Bornes.
What started as a small family business grew into garment manufacturing, embroidery, exports and a nationwide retail presence. In 2014, the Group received the EPZDA Exporter Award (First Prize), recognising its contribution to Mauritian manufacturing and exports.
Over four decades, Tamak has evolved into a diversified business group, combining established retail activities with international distribution, technology, business services and property development.
